Also in attendance was Jim Harbour. REPORTS Secretary-Betty Johnson – Ronnie Davis moved the minutes be approved as distributed; Steve Smith 2nd; motion carried. Treasurer-Jamie Forsythe Savings Account $38,864.55 Checking Account 18,643.60 Petty Cash 90.00 TOTAL $57,598.15 Steve Smith moved the Treasurer’s Report be approved; Ronnie Davis 2nd; motion carried. Ronnie Davis moved the bill for Cascade Concrete be paid (Lignin application/water truck - $15,532.28); Steve Smith 2nd; motion carried. Architect Committee-Joan Bassen – No activity. In answer to a query regarding possible encroachment onto another’s property, Jim Harbour reported that the two property owners in question share a well. Jim also requested that the Secretary send a copy of the SMRC Covenants to Rick Avery. Road Committee-Jerry Johnson – Paul reported that the dead-end signs need to be finished. Jim Harbour added that he has had no complaints from Rodeo Trails about the roads. He also requested four (4) speed limit signs. Bathhouse Construction/Remodel Committee-Dave DeVoe – Paul reported that Dave had contacted several contractors and only got one maybe. Jamie gave Paul the name of a contractor who indicated to her that he wanted to bid on our project; Paul said he’d follow through on this. OLD BUSINESS Wildfire Protection Plan-Ronnie Davis – John Daily is enmeshed in the wildfires so it was agreed to put this issue on hold until he can attend. Joan Bassen suggested a special meeting with John. Lupine (E, W, S) Name Changes –Paul Tillman – Gene Wilson, our County contact on this issue, is also too busy with the wildfires to discuss this issue. It will be on hold until he is available. Another suggestion presented to Paul has been Barnaby Road to replace West Lupine. Annual Audit-Paul Tillman – Our CPA requested additional information which Paul will research and respond to ASAP (when SMRC purchased; for how much $$; current value) Annual Meeting Agenda-Paul Tillman – Paul distributed his agenda format based on the Board’s input at our previous meeting. It was suggested by Joan Bassen that the elections be moved higher up on the list. Septic Evaluation-Al Muzzy – No report. NEW BUSINESS Jamie said she met with Bradshaw’s office to coordinate our records with theirs. Jamie also presented the Proposed Budget for 2007. After much discussion and agreed-to category changes Ronnie Davis moved to approve the Proposed Budget; Steve Smith 2nd; motion carried It was noted that if the Garbage Proposal is approved at the Annual Meeting, it will be added to the 2007 Proposed Budget.
