New Mailboxes
The Board is considering purchasing secure mailbox clusters for each entrance. These mailboxes would eventually replace the existing single mailboxes. More details about cost, project/build plan, and timeline will be provided as it becomes available. Contact Paul Tillman if you are interested in getting a mailbox or if you are able to volunteer to help with this project. Follow this link for a general idea of what the mailboxes could look like.

Weed Spray
The Okanogan County Noxious Weed Control Board promotes the increase of public awareness and the education of private, state, county, and federal entities on the control of noxious weeds. As such, SMRC roadways were recently sprayed (early May) for noxious weeds (e.g. toadflax).

Call for Audit Committee Members
2010 will bring SMRC's internal audit, pending approval from members at annual meeting in September. Ranch Club members are invited to participate in the process. Time commitment will be approximately 1/2 day for "audit" day plus monthly meetings, as needed. Ideally, at least three members will be needed. If you are interested please contact Dave Sandoz, Audit Committee Chair via email salut599@yahoo.com, telephone (509) 996-3495.

_________________________________________

Due to the unavailability of a contractor, the reconstruction of the park facilities has been postponed to the fall of 2008. The Board regrets having to do this but felt it was the best course to take. The bathhouse will remain open through the end of hunting season for member usage. Members will be kept informed of the progress of the project through the newsletter.

Thank you for your understanding.
